Richard A. Hartman, Born in Frankfurt Germany on May 29, 1963. Died peacefully surrounded by close family at the age of 59.
Richard graduated from Churchill County High School in 1982 and soon after enlisted in the US Army.

On July 28, 1988 Richard was blessed with a son Nathan James Hartman. He relocated back to Hawthorne where he resided until his death.
He retired as a heavy equipment operator with the Mineral County Road Department. Spending much of his time blading Lucky Boy and Rawhide.
Richard spent many hours outdoors, rock hunting, target shooting, hunting and exploring ghost towns. He was a fan of guns, music and concerts, old westerns, John Wayne, Jack Daniels, and being surrounded by women who loved and cared for him. Gil’s, was his home away from home.
Richard is survived by his mother Fran Goodyear, sisters Jeri Lopez ( Juan), Sherry Payne (Randall), Tanya Curtis, the love of his life Sally Reilly, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and step-children.
Richard is preceded in death by his son, Nathan James Hartman, his dad Richard Hartman Sr., Grandma Hartman, Grandma and Grandpa Redman, and step-father Jerry Goodyear.
Richard had the biggest heart and was kind to everyone. He was there to lend a hand when someone was down on their luck.
