The Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Inc. (RSVP) Great Gas Giveaway fundraiser for Mineral County has come to an end and the winner of the $250 Golden Gate gas gift card has been announced: Congratulations Tina Manzini. RSVP wants to thank those who entered the raffle for their support in the mission to raise funds for RSVP’s Transportation Program, as well as thank Dorothy Grimes, Johnny Peterson, Deanna and Charlie Morris and MJ Dykxhoorn for their help making this a successful fundraiser for Mineral County’s RSVP Programs. “Our organization wants to thank the community for the support in this fundraiser—and congratulations to the winner Tina Manzini!” said Molly Walt, C.E.O. of RSVP.

The goal of the Great Gas Giveaway fundraiser was to raise money to provide support to Mineral County’s seniors and adults with disabilities with door-to-door escorted transportation that helps them live independently and stay in their homes. With the increase of the cost of fuel, the fundraiser was extremely important to assist in fueling our vehicles. Transportation is RSVP’s biggest program and has served 473 clients in the past year and volunteers have given over 4,200 hours of companionship to the seniors we serve. With the support of the community,
RSVP can continue to provide exemplary service to Mineral County’s most vulnerable population.
RSVP is a non-profit organization that helps provide seniors with life-saving services such as transportation, home companionship, Personal Emergency Response Systems, and many more.
