  • On Aug. 15, Kevin Mark Stansbury, Jr. entered a guilty plea to the charge of conspiracy to violate the controlled substances act, a violation of NRS 453.401, a category C felony. On Oct. 3, he was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment in the Nevada Department of Corrections for a maximum term of 32 months with a minimum parole eligibility of 12 months from this date. The ordered was suspended and he was placed under the supervision of the State of Nevada chief parole and probation officer for a term not to exceed five years with special terms and conditions. He was ordered to pay $238 in fines and fees. He was given credit for 12 days presentence confinement time.
  • On July 3, Edward Troy McColgan entered a guilty plea to the charge of possession of a controlled substance, a violation of NRS 453.336, a category E felony. On Oct. 3, he was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment in the Nevada Department of Corrections for a maximum term of 34 months, with a minimum parole eligibility of 12 months from this date. The order was suspended and he was placed under the supervision of the State of Nevada chief parole and probation officer for a tem not to exceed five years with special terms and conditions. He was ordered to pay $235 in fines and fees. He will be dishonorably discharged upon his release from incarceration on Oct. 3, 2019 to be transferred to California by the California Division of Parole and Probation.
