Mt. Grant Electric was selected to be part of a joint venture team for the demolition, construction, testing and acceptance of a new fuel loading and offloading facility at Naval Air Station El Centro in California.

Local electrical contractor, Mt. Grant Electric was selected to be part of a joint venture team for the demolition, construction, testing and acceptance of a new fuel loading and offloading facility at Naval Air Station El Centro in California. The multi-million dollar project was led by CAPE/Burns McDonnell. Contractors were awarded based on high performance at other military facilities and ability to perform on a tight schedule. Time constraints forced construction to begin as the US Navy Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team left El Centro, their winter training facility, to embark on their worldwide tour. The pressure was on as work was required to be completed and the new fueling system fully operational prior to tour completion and the return of the Blue Angels to the El Centro facility.

Mt. Grant Electric has grown to offer its aviation fuels support services to military facilities nationwide, servicing every branch of our Armed Forces. Mt. Grant Electric has been anchored in “America’s Patriotic Home” for over 21 years and takes pride in representing community commitment and longevity with excellence.
