Work has begun on the “Hawthorne” sign across from Veterans Park. Funding from this project came from Nevada Department of Transportation with landscaping and decorative sculptures, donated by local entities after completion.
Forgive me for stating the obvious, but this pic. shows the guys working on the “McDonald’s”, which is across the street from the Hawthorne sign . BTW …McDonald’s needs to work on a new MENU if they want to stay open and relevant .
