Marilyn Ann Gamble

Marilyn Ann Gamble, age 77, of Hawthorne passed away on June 7 in Reno.

She was born on Dec. 24, 1941 in Montpelier, Vt., the daughter of James and Doris Robbins.

For the last 30 years, she has made her home Hawthorne with her husband, Ted. Ted and Marilyn were married on Sept. 3, 1964 in Barre, Vt. and had been married 55 years at the time of her passing.

Marilyn was the most loyal and understanding wife a man could have and the most caring and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother her children could ever dream of.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa; parents, James and Doris and two brothers, Bobby and Doug Robbins.

She is survived by her husband, Ted Gamble; daughter, Sherry Gamble; son, Ted Gamble, Jr.; grandchildren: Sonja (Chris) Scarlata, Ari Gamble (Brian), Carlos Hernandez (Michelle), T.J. Gamble and Skylar Gamble; great grandchildren: Christopher, Louis and Ayden Scarlata; sister: Eleanor (Roger) MacAuley; brothers: Jim (Ruth) Robbins, Dick (Judy) Robbins; sisters-in-law: Ellen and Rosa Robbins; nieces and nephews: Arnold, Rick, Mike, Scott, Laurie, Diane, Marie, Shirley, Karen, Bobby, Bill, Richard and Cindy.

A celebration of life will be held on Sept. 21, 2019 at the VFW in Hawthorne. Words of encouragement can be sent to gamble1967@icloud.com.
