  • On May 29, Juaquin Salazar III pled guilty to the charge of obstructing public officers, NRS 197.190, a misdemeanor. He was found guilty and ordered to 19 days in jail, time served. All other charges dismissed.

  • On June 4, Elijah Matthew Sanchez pled guilty to the charge of purchase, possession and/or consumption of alcohol beverage by a minor, Mineral County Code 9.16.010, a misdemeanor and open container of alcoholic beverage, NRS 10.23.010, a misdemeanor. He was found guilty and sentenced to five days in jail with three days credit.

District Court

  • On Jan. 22, Robert Eugene Waggoner entered a guilty plea to the charge of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, a violation of NRS 205.2715, a gross misdemeanor. On June 20, he was found guilty and sentenced to 364 days in the Mineral County Detention Facility. He was given credit for 17 days presentence served. His sentence was suspended and he was ordered to serve a period of probation with Nevada Parole and Probation not to exceed 36 months. He was ordered to pay $28 in fines and fees as well as $1,152.16 in restitution to the victim at $150 a month. His terms of imprisonment is to run consecutive to any other sentence imposed. The sentence comes with terms and conditions.
  • On April 4, Ashlee Raeanne Blondin entered a guilty plea to the charge of attempted grand larceny, a violation of NRS 205.222 and NRS 193.330, category D felonies. On June 20, she was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment in the Nevada Department of Corrections for a minimum term of 15 months, from this date and for a maximum term of 48 months, from this date. She was given credit for time served in the amount of 18 days. Her sentence was suspended and she was ordered to serve 60 months with the Nevada Parole and Probation. She was ordered to pay $205 in fines and fees. She is to pay $730 in restitution before Dec. 20, 2019. Her terms of imprisonment to run consecutive to any other sentence imposed. The sentence comes with terms and conditions.
  • On April 18, Tricia Annette Dilliner entered a guilty plea to the charge of trafficking in controlled substance (level II), a violation of NRS 453.3385(1)(b), a category B felony. On June 20, she was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment in the Nevada Department of Corrections for a minimum term of 48 months, from this date and a maximum term of 120 months, from this date. She was given no days credit for time served. She was ordered to pay $88 in fines and fees. Her term of imprisonment is to run consecutive to any other sentence imposed in any other case.
