Mineral County is now $221,650 richer after holding the delinquent tax sale on Thursday, May 30.

According to Clerk Chris Nepper, 19 of the 25 properties were sold. “We started off with 60 properties but many were redeemed before the sale,” he explained.

A property located in Walker Lake went for $60,000 of which $3,750 were the taxes originally owed. For a complete list of properties sold and for what amount, contact the clerk’s office at 775-945-2446.
