The truck, originally from Fresno, Calif. was purchased from Dallas, Texas where Fire Chief Chris Lawrence flew to pick it up. The Type I truck can be used for small structural/vehicle fires and also has the ability to “pump and roll”.
The truck came with over $30,000 worth of gear included which included: Hearst tools; hoses; medical supplies; 4,000 watt generator and 29 gallon per minute portable pump.
The truck can be seen at the fire house during normal business hours.
