Allen and AJ Hudson enjoy last year’s St. Patrick’s Day fun run.

Come out to the high school track on St. Patrick’s Day (Sunday, March 17) to enjoy leprechaun laps and pot of gold hunt beginning at 10 a.m. The Dream Team will sponsor this fun event for students and families as part of their ongoing positive school climate promotion programs.

Participants will walk/run 10 laps (2.5) miles with each lap being “rewarded” with green color, trinkets or other shenanigans. Students who are receiving pledges from the community will also get a punch card to verify their participation. Water and snacks will be provided to all who participate.

Students in 7th and 8th grades will walk/run for free (thanks to the generous donations of the community) while children up to 6th grade will be charged $2. High school students will be asked for a $5 admission fee and families will be charged $10. Prizes will be offered for best leprechaun costumes.

The Pot of Gold Hunt will take place on the football field following the run.
