The following people were arrested in Mineral County on or after Aug. 5 and were in jail on Monday at or after about 8 a.m. All charges against them are misdemeanors unless otherwise noted. • Roberto Medina was arrested on Aug. 7 by Mineral County Sheriff’s Office for basic speed – 16-20 miles per hour over posted limit and false statement to/obstruct public officer. Bail set at $1,335 bond/cash.

• Monique N. Valdez was arrested on Aug. 7 by Mineral County Sheriff’s Office for use/under influence schedule I, II, III, IV controlled substance, possess schedule I, II, III, IV controlled substance (first/second) and use/possess drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $6,000 bond/cash.

• Glen K. Haynie was arrested on Aug. 9 by Mineral County Sheriff’s Office for possess schedule I, II, III, IV controlled substance (first/second); DUI, above legal limit, (first); driver/passenger fail report unattended vehicle/property and duty upon damaging unattended vehicle property. No bail listed.

• Jorge I. Ochoa was arrested on Aug. 10 by Mineral County Sheriff’s Office for illegal angle parking. No bail listed.

• Michael J. Richards was arrested on Aug. 10 by Mineral County Sheriff’s Office for contempt of court – Hawthorne Township Justice Court. No bail.

• Sarah J. Wilson was arrested on Aug. 10 by Mineral County Sheriff’s Office for criminal contempt. Bail set at $260 bond/cash.

• Salina M. Valdivia was arrested on Aug. 11 by Mineral County Sheriff’s Office for domestic battery. Bail set at $3,140 bond/cash.
