Gold Resources Corporation announced on April 19 that the mineral reserve for the Isabella Pearl project located outside of Luning, has increased its company-wide gold reserves by 135 percent.

Drill data, completed before Dec. 31, 2017 shows that the Isabella Pearl is proven with approximately 2,694,500 tons grading 2.22 grams per ton gold and 13 grams per ton silver, equaling to 192,600 gold ounces and 1,129,100 silver ounces.

In a press release, Vice President of Exploration for Gold Resources Corporation, Barry Devlin stated, “We are very pleased to release our initial reserve report for Isabella Pearl gold project. The impressive gold grades for a potential open pit heap leach operation at Isabella Pearl is what first attracted our company to this project. An average gold grade of 2.22 grams per ton combined with positive metallurgy exceeding 80 percent crushed rock gold recovery have the potential to make this a very exciting open pit, heap leach project.”

Gold Resource Corporation also has gold and silver operations in Oaxaca, Mexico.
