Pinochle at the mineral county senior center

Pinochle, Anyone?

If you are an avid fan of pinochle, you may be unaware that there is a group that plays four afternoons a week at the Mineral County Senior Center on K Street.  Games are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, starting at 12:45 and ending no later than 4:30 p.m.  Single deck is played, with three and four-handed tables, depending upon the number present.  Six sets are completed, and the winners rotate after each set.  You do not need to be a senior to participate.  Anyone who enjoys the game is welcome.

There is no membership fee and no obligation.  Just show up when you can.  One dollar is put into the pot by each player, and the winnings are divided among first, second, third, and last place.  One dollar is also paid for the last double  pinochle of the day.  Win or lose, you are guaranteed an afternoon of fun.
