Perla Gutierrez scored 19 points and Julieanna Williams finished with 12 as the Lady Serpents topped Sierra Lutheran 50-26. Jerzi Moody had eight points in the win and Hailey Lahre scored six points and pulled down eight rebounds.

The Lady Serpents (11-3, 4-0) now sit atop the 1A Western standings by themselves, with Coleville (8-4, 5-1) behind them in second place.

The girls enter a busy stretch that will see them play six league games in 10 days, beginning with Excel Christian at home today. Whittell comes to town on Friday evening before the Lady Serpents hit the road Saturday at Pyramid Lake.
