Mineral County School District

Thank You,

On behalf of the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension-Mineral County, we want to take a moment to formally thank all of our sponsors, volunteers, and vendors who put forth the effort to make this year’s Fall Festival a success.

The Oct. 26 event was financially sponsored by Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Agency (SAPTA). Donations for the costume and pumpkin contest prizes were provided by Financial Horizons Credit Union, McDonald’s, Mr. Beanes, Pizza Factory, Port of Subs, Old Nevada Pizza, Bill’s Food Mart (76 stations), Burkes BBQ and CAHS.

This event could not have operated without the help of our volunteers who gave their time last Thursday night! We would especially like to thank Debra Lee, Darlene Reed, Patrick Pelletier, Christopher Pelletier, Chance Sterns, Bob Sasser, Brooke Sasser and our contest judges.

In addition, we would also like to thank all of our vendors who supported this event: The Jr. High Dream Team, Souled Out, Hawthorne Utilities Office and Super Chuck, Dr. Dow’s Office, The Boys and Girls Club, Hawthorne Pop Warner, The Class of 2019, The Kenny Bostic Memorial Youth Athletic Fund, Mineral County Sherriff’s Department, Lion’s Club, and our MC for the night, Tyler Viani.

We would also like to congratulate all of our costume and pumpkin contest winners and thank all who graciously donated to our canned food drive. All contributions are given to the CAHS office.

UNCE has been hosting the annual Fall Festival for over ten years and we will continue to do so with great volunteers and sponsors. This year’s event had approximately 300 people in attendance throughout the night.

Once again thank you to all of the volunteers, sponsors, and to those who participated in the night’s activities.
