The Mineral County High football team has been putting up points in bunches this season, and Friday night was no different. The Serpents blasted Sierra Lutheran 59-13 at home for their second straight win.

With the win, the Serpents improved to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play. They now sit tied for third place with Smith Valley behind undefeated Virginia City and Whittell.

The team will play its final home game of the season tomorrow night when they take on Pyramid Lake (2-4, 0-3) in Hawthorne on senior night and Homecoming.
