Hawthorne Elementary students brought in the Christmas spirit this year with their annual Christmas concert. Unlike other school, Mineral County School District does not have a music program, so to make sure those students and parents benefit from programs such as this, the teachers step up and fill the role of music teacher. In a packed gym, students sang traditional Christmas songs as their parents smiled proudly of their child’s accomplishments.
