Celebrating their 75th birthday, the El Capitan will be hosting a poker run to benefit Mineral County Search and Rescue on Saturday, July 30.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. in the E Street side parking lot of the El Capitan. Last card will be drawn by 5:30 p.m. on the F Street side of the El Capitan at the bandstand.
The cost is $20 per hand. Additional hands can be purchased, and each hand gets a $5 voucher for food at the vendors who are set up for the celebration.
Prizes awarded will be: First – $150, second – $100 and third – $50.
Mineral County Search and Rescue will be out on the course, assisting with card stops and directions.
