Daniel Edward Hampton of Llano, Texas, 35, passed away Sept. 18 while responding to an ambulance call. He was born April 2, 1980 in Hawthorne to Larry and Susan Hampton.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Pettye Hampton; children Brendon, Andy, Hunter and Madison; parents Larry and Susan Hampton of Atlanta, Ga.; sister Kelly Barber and husband Jeremy of Florida; father and mother-in-law Mike and Judy Pettye of Trinity, Texas; brother-in-laws Mark Pettye of Cypress, Texas; Floyd and Brandy Wagger of Trinity, Texas; grandmother Phyllis Keenum of Caldwell, Texas; grandparents George and Millie Warren of Utah and niece and nephew Jonathan and Emily Barber and other nieces. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Charles Keenum and grandparents Howard and Phyllis Hampton, formerly of Hawthorne.
Since he was 14, Daniel lived and breathed the fire department. He was a combat medic in the Army serving in Iraq. He enjoyed being with his children and loved tinkering with his tractor and trucks.
Interment was Saturday, Sept. 25 in Newport, Texas.
