9With pre-school kids lined up for their dance class, the Wednesday mornings “Tots Students” were anxious to click their shoes on the wooden dance floor.

The new “Souled Out”, non-profit endeavor is not only offering a variety of dance courses, it includes consigned art pieces, wellness items and a host of creative spaces throughout the building located at 898 E St. at the corner of 9th St.

David McBroome explained that “Souled Out” is a two year old outreach which encourages the betterment of one another using many avenues of inspiration. “This is a place that is open for groups to meet, people to be encouraged and growth to occur. We care about people as a whole. We offer consignment space for wholesome sellers, with request forms available here at our location. We even have the Art Council meeting here the second Monday of each month. Our dance and workout classes are starting to fill up as people are finding out about it.”

Vendors have set up unique, handmade music instruments, framed pieces by Don Banfield, displays of one-of-a-kind furniture and other creative décor. The friendly atmosphere has a roomy feel which openly welcomes shoppers and dancers, visitors to meeting groups.

As an asset to the items offered is a specialty product called do’Terra, which provides therapeutic-grade essential oils and wellness information. These are shown and explained by personalized consultants.
