Saturday Oct. 25, the Mighty Serpents traveled to Reno where they played a tough game against the Central Reno Wolfpack team. Despite the freezing cold weather with the wind blowing terribly, the Serpents played a good game.

The Wolfpack team was tough but the Serpents refused to be shut out. Devayne Isom ran 30 yards for the only touchdown of the game. Quarterback Katcher Millward handed the ball off to Drake Spanier who threw a nice pass to Triston Jones scoring the extra point. Your ball carriers for the game were Masson Dillard, Drake Spanier, DeVayne Isom and Andrew Stinson. The defense held strong and some great tackles were made by Raul Gutierrez Jr., Cade Torres, Dujuan Blondin, and Raeane Johnson. In the end, the Wolfpack took the game with a score of 27-7.

Good job to the Serpents, you will get them next time!. Our final game of the season will be in Fallon this coming Saturday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. against North Tahoe. The Mighty Serpents have also been invited to play in this year’s Snow Bowl on Nov. 8 time and location TBA.
