Four pounds of marijuana, 26 pills of Alprazolam and a small amount of LSD were uncovered after a traffic stop in Mineral County last week.

Members of the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop on Tuesday, Oct. 27 which lead to the arrest of three persons for drug activity.

Stopped at approximately 10 p.m., deputies of the sheriff’s office conducted a stop on a silver 2005 Mazda minivan. During the stop, the officers became suspicious of possible criminal activity.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, “A search of the vehicle revealed approximately four pounds of marijuana, 26 pills of Alprazolam and a small amount of LSD.”

The three subjects are identified as Adam Schiesser, Norman Wheatley and Gina Pearl, all of Las Vegas. They were arrested and booked into the Mineral County Detention Facility.

The charges for each individual is as follows: possession of marijuana – felony, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance – three counts.

The release concludes that each individual has a total bail of $11,140 each.
