PUBLIC NOTICE RELATIVE TO UTILITY RATE INCREASES
FOR HAWTHORNE WATER SYSTEM, SEWER OPERATIONS &
MINA/LUNING WATER SYSTEM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, of proposed rate increases for the Hawthorne Water
System, Sewer Operations and Mina/Luning Water System.
A copy of proposed rate increases can be obtained at the Hawthorne Utilities Office,
395 ‘E’ St, Hawthorne, Nevada.
SUMMARY provides for revenue to maintain viable working departments within the
Utility Departments. Review of the revenue and expenses will be presented to the Mineral
County Board of Commissioners for their consideration and approval.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the Board of Mineral County Commissioners will
hold a Public Hearing on the Proposed Rate Increases on Wednesday, January 21, 2026
at 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
PLACE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING will be the County Commissioner’s Meeting
