Properly Subversive/Sherman R. Frederick

The saying “Time Will Tell” applies perfectly to Dr. Jay Bhattacharya’s reputation as a truth-telling scientist.

You will remember that Dr. Bhattacharya, a Stanford University researcher, questioned the Biden Administration’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic — namely the efficacy of lockdowns and mask mandates.

Because of that, he faced brutal attacks from the medical community at the time. His university instructed him to stop talking to reporters and questioning the government’s response to the pandemic. California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a law that would revoke his (or any California doctor’s) medical license for spreading “false” information about COVID. (The courts struck down that clearly unconstitutional law in a nano-second, even in California.

At the time, leaders at the National Institutes of Health (Anthony Fauci and Francis Collins) called Dr. Bhattacharya a “fringe epidemiologist.” And, of course, the obedient legacy media like the Washington Post et al., as they did for Biden’s entire term, participated willingly in the libel.

Luckily, time and science have revealed the truth.

Anthony Fauci has accepted a presidential pardon from Joe Biden for crimes committed as far back as 2014 when he started funding the Wuhan lab in China, the suspected origin of the pandemic.

Dr. Bhattacharya has been named the new director of the National Institute of Health. He’s pledged to clean up the federal agency that once hid the truth and tried to bury his reputation in the process.

As he prepares to take over the NIH, he said the Biden/Fauci health organization “oversaw a culture of coverup, obfuscation, and a lack of tolerance for ideas that differed from theirs.”

He says he will restore “a culture of respect for free speech in science and scientific dissent at the agency,” adding, “Dissent is the very essence of science. I will foster a culture where NIH leadership will actively encourage different perspectives and create an environment where scientists – including early career scientists – can express disagreement respectfully.”

When karma works, its full-on magic looks something like this — the good guy wins and is put into a position to right some wrongs.

It’s a beautiful thing.

Thanks, Dr. Bhattacharya. You’ll make the nation and the world a better, healthier place.
