Dear Editor,
Mineral county uses Facebook as their information broadcaster. Many of us do not use that format as our source. I won’t use it because it is an addictive waste of time and our county commissioners should consider an alternative information broadcaster. I personally know many that do not use that addictive lazy American producer Facebook. Please consider mass email or even snail mail or local bulletin boards to pass the word.
Yesterday, Tuesday 11/21/2023, I watched our local garbage truck wiz past, turn around not picking up a single trash can. Will the additional day make the difference? It surely will cost taxpayers for the O.T. Paying them for the additional run. Surely our commissioners can come up with an alternative to inform the residences of garbage pick-up, or even the summer clean up for dumpster locations and dates that I understand many missed this year due to Facebook postings only.
