Hawthorne Elementary School third grade students and teachers would like to extend their gratitude to Sheriff Ferguson and his staff for their generosity of donating four new bicycles for the annual third grade Bike Day. The bicycles were raffled off so that each class both had two winners. Mrs. Schumann’s class recipients were: Audrey Boyce and Gabby Ives. Mrs. Berry’s class recipients were: Anthony Gallegos, Jr. and Olivia Leon. Our bicycle field trip and picnic at Veterans Memorial Park was an
exceptional experience for students, families, and volunteers. We appreciate those who lent bicycles, gave a bicycle to a classmate, and served as our pit crew.
