The Mineral County High School football team has rebounded from an 0-4 start to the season and have secured a spot in the 1A playoffs after topping Beatty 52-12 last Friday night. It was the third win in four games for the surging Serpents in what was one of their best performances of the season.

Drake Spanier, Devayne Isom and Cade Torres each accomplished a rare feat of scoring both a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown in the win. Chase Reeves threw for a pair of scores, while Cayden Marnin got into the game and completed both of his passes, including one for a touchdown.
