Mineral County welcomed Pyramid Lake to town on Tuesday and came away with a 20-6 win. The Lakers came out of the gate with six runs in the first inning before the home team answered with 11 in the bottom half, and pitcher Julieanna Williams shut down the visitors the rest of the way. The senior allowed just one hit over the final four innings and also notched two RBIs at the dish. Lahre led the way on offense with a triple, home run and three RBIs. Boyd also had a home run and Bennett added three hits.
