Saturday, Nov. 18 is the date for the annual Christmas Bazaar, sponsored by the Catholic Ladies Guild. It will be held once again at the Hawthorne Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In keeping with tradition, the following attractions will be featured: photos with Santa Claus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; food service all day, with lunch, snack and beverage items on the menu; a bake sale; an all-cash raffle and a wide variety of goods offered by returning and new vendors and crafters. Tables are still available at $20 each. Please call Jean Justus at 945-2206 to reserve your space.
Raffle tickets are now on sale and will also be sold at the door on the 18th. Prizes are $300, $200 and $100. Tickets are $5 for a book of six tickets. The drawings will take place at the close of the bazaar. You need not be present to win.
The Catholic Ladies Guild thanks the community for the tremendous support they have been given in past years. They hope to make this year’s event bigger and better than ever. Mark your calendars and plan to take advantage of this great opportunity to shop locally for Christmas, enjoy lunch with friends and get into the spirit of the season.
