Hawthorne Army Depot

Hawthorne Army Depot is providing opportunities for the youth in Mineral County and the surrounding areas. Hawthorne Army Depot will be participating in the Department of the Army Pathways Internship Program. This program provides students currently enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions, from high school to graduate level, with opportunities to work and get paid through a job with Department of the Army. These experiences can provide meaningful training and career development to individuals determining their career path for the future.

An application for openings at HWAD will be available on www.usajobs.gove through June 23, 2017.

LTC Scott M. Bishop, Commander of the Hawthorne Army Depot, said, “The depot believes strongly in responsible stewardship of the resources that have been entrusted to us. There is no greater resource than today’s youth, who will be tomorrow’s leaders.”
