Loretta was preceded in death by her parents Robert Everett and Gussie Lou Gable and her daughter Julie Ann Chavez.
She leaves behind her sister Lottie Logan; brother Harvey Gable; daughter Melanie McQueen; four grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and family and friends.
Loretta greatly enjoyed her family and friends. She enjoyed card games and playing Yahtzee with them. She also enjoyed traveling with her sister all across the states to see family and friends.
Loretta was a wonderful mom, sister, grandmother and aunt. She will be sorely missed by all of us.
A memorial service is being planned.

Loretta will be deeply missed. I’m her granddaughter Mercedes. She raised me and has been my strength, my rock. She made me the strong person I am today. She was very hard working and very kind hearted to everyone. She was lucky enough to have great and great great grandchildren. There’s one great great who Loretta also helped raise ( Sami Gene) who has had the pleasure of being in the presence of an amazing woman for the past 8 years. We love you granny.
I miss my granny even if we didn’t speak often. It was the knowing she was there that made the difference. She told me one time, You never know who will give you your last drink of water. Those words cross my mind a lot when it comes to burnin’ bridges. Love and miss you grandma Rhetta. Ps Never let you go
