Mineral County Library is proud to announce that it has received a BOOKS FOR CHILDREN grant from The Libri Foundation.

Each month, for 12 months, this library will receive Junior Library Guild (JLG) books from each of the following categories: Primary; Fantasy/Science Fiction Elementary; Mystery/Adventure Middle School; High-Interest Reading Middle School; Current Trends High School; History High School and Science Nonfiction Elementary. JLG books are excellent quality, high-interest books that add exceptional value to the children’s collection. Each book is labeled with a pink sticker at the top of the spine label so that they are easy to find once shelved. The first set of books arrived and is now on the new book display in the children’s area and Young Adult area.

This is not the first BOOKS FOR CHILDREN grant that this library has received from The Libri Foundation, a non-profit organization which has donated new, quality books to small, rural public libraries for many years. Mineral County Library has been especially pleased to be recognized several times as a recipient. Come to the library to check out these new and interesting books.
