Students of the Mineral County High School JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) program have raised funds this past year by selling food during school nutrition break. The students chose to contribute part of their funds to a local community organization. This year, the students chose to make a donation to the YCAC to help support the programs offered to the youth in our community.

The senior JAG class presented Barb Owens with a check for $611. Owens stated the funds will be used to help provide sports and other programs sponsored by the YCAC.

The JAG program allows students the opportunity to develop skills necessary to successfully transition from high school to post-secondary education, a career, or both. JAG Nevada is a non-profit organization supported with funds from the state legislature as well as private funding. The Mineral County High School JAG program would like to thank the generous support of AT&T.
