Mabry F. Brown
Mabry F. Brown (May), of Hawthorne was taken home by our Lord on April 2, 2016. She was 89 years of age. Mabry was born to parents James and Bertie Weaver on Aug. 15, 1926 in Nocona, Texas. She grew up and attended school in Oklahoma City, Okla. She married Winfred Brown on Sept. 5, 1944 in Vancouver Wash. and the couple had three children.
Mabry is survived by her children: Lola Trombley of Harlan, Iowa; Linda Price (James) and Eugene Brown (Joyce) of Hawthorne. Five grand children, 18 great grand children and 25 great great grandchildren; sisters Bonnie and LaRue and brother James Weaver of Amarillo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Brown; her parents: James and Bertie Weaver; her sisters, Laura Pearl Bridwell of Twin Falls, Idaho, Bertha Faye Harthcock of Huston, Texas; Lonetta Carpenter of Amarillo, Texas and brothers Richard and Glenn Weaver of Dallas, Texas.
A service will be held on April 16 at 11 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Hawthorne. After cremation she will be inurned at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley with her husband.
