NV Energy donated $500 to the local Toys for Tots program.
NV Energy proudly partnered with Mineral County Post 19 American Legion to help make sure that children in Mineral County will have a special Christmas through the Toys for Tots program. By donating $500 to Toys for Tots, more than 140 children in the community will receive a toy or gift, helping to share the spirit of the holiday season with everyone, especially those children most in need.
“We are proud to support this important program for children,” said Marco Guerrero, Area Service Manager. “We know that the holidays can be financially stressful on families, and we trust that this donation will benefit many children in Mineral County.”
As a local non-profit veterans organization, the Toys for Tots program relies on the support of local merchants, community members and the Marine Corps League to collect toys for Christmas and to distribute them to families.
