A narcotics search warrant was served on the home of Robert Wilson and Brooke Adams resulting in a large amount of drugs being discovered.

On Thursday, Nov. 26, at approximately 1:49 a.m. Mineral County Sheriff’s Office deputies served the warrant on the above. The search, located at 870 I Street in Hawthorne, resulted in Robert Wilson and Brooke Adams of Hawthorne being arrested.

Found in the residence by deputies and Mineral County K9 Jake, approximately 21 grams of methamphetamine, 7.5 grams of heroin and a small amount of marijuana was located along with several firearms.

Wilson was arrested on the following charges: ex-felon in possession of firearm; trafficking controlled substance – methamphetamine; trafficking controlled substance – heroin; maintaining place for sale of controlled substance; sale controlled substance – second offense; drug endangerment child – two counts; possession of marijuana less than an ounce; possession of drug paraphernalia – five counts; possession of controlled substance schedule 2 for sale – second offense and possession of controlled substance not for sale – schedule 4.

Adams was arrested on charges which included: trafficking controlled substance – methamphetamine; trafficking controlled substance – heroin; maintaining place for sale of controlled substance; sale controlled substance – second offense; drug endangerment child – two counts; possession of marijuana less than an ounce; possession of drug paraphernalia – five counts; possession of controlled substance schedule 2 for sale – second offense and possession of controlled substance not for sale – schedule 4.

Bail for Wilson was set at $383,240 and Adam’s bail was $318,240. In a press release from Mineral County Sheriff’s Office, Under Sheriff Bill Ferguson said, “This investigation has been ongoing for approximately one year. Mineral County deputies showed great teamwork bringing this case to an end. I would also like to thank K9 Deputy Mike Dillard and K9 Jake for their outstanding performance.”

At press time, neither Wilson nor Adams had posted bail or bond.
