Wade Barton, right, and his wife, Kay, are the owners of Sign City, which recently moved into a new location at 320 F. Street.

Telling people where to go and how to get there has been Wade Barton’s job since 1993 when he first started Sign City in Hawthorne.

This small town business does big town business, all from their workshop located in their new location of 320 F St. in Hawthorne.

Barton along with his wife, Kay, treats each job with dedication regardless of the size or cost of the job.

In the late summer, Barton made the move from his old location on E Street to the much roomier location now on F Street.

Currently, Sign City is working on a project for the Hawthorne Army Depot at the main gate and on billboard down U.S. 95 all the way to Beatty.

Barton wants to remind his friends and customers that even though they have made a transition to a new building, “We are still going strong.”
