Walker River Tribal Police arrested a Schurz man last Friday that was accused of robbing the City Liquor and Food Store in Fallon on Jan. 11.

Fallon Police Captain Ron Wenger said Bryan Aaron Plummer entered the convenient store about 9:30 p.m. the night of the incident, wearing a bandana over his face a ball-cap, a “Nevada” sweatshirt and sweat pants.

While nobody was harmed in the robbery, Plummer was able to make off with an undetermined amount of cash after threatening the clerk.

“The male then had the clerk go to a back room and threatened her with harm if she came out,” Wenger said.

Wenger, said that once Fallon officers arrived at the store and began to secure the scene, they also attempted to identify the suspect. He said detectives collected evidence left at or near the scene, which provided clues to Plummer’s identity.

Plummer was arrested at his father’s house in Schurz on Friday and held for Fallon police who transported him to the Churchill County jail after a prisoner exchange.

He is being held on $750,000 bail.
