On Saturday, Oct. 18, the Mighty Serpents took on the North Reno Wolfpack. The Serpents were down 27 points with ten seconds left in the half when Sam Cromer broke through the defensive line and scored the first touchdown of the game.

The other ball carriers for the game were Jaevaun Jones, Drake Spanier, DeVayne Isom and Dalton Jaramillo.

These boys did a great job of gaining yards and tried their hardest to get those chains moving. Coming back in the second half Sam Cromer had a great run of 30 yards and the quarterback, Katcher Millward, was able to run 65 yards in for the touchdown. Cromer completed the conversion for the extra point bringing the final score to 46-13, Wolfpack.

Great job Mighty Serpents, you are doing great and getting stronger week by week! Our next game will be on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 5 p.m. in Reno at Bishop Manogue High School. Come out and show your Serpent pride and Hawthorne spirit!
