Once located in Seabee Park in Babbitt, Cinderella’s Pumpkin has been relocated to Lion’s Park with the help of the local Lion’s Club.
Babbitt youth remember the pumpkin, rocket and merry-go-round that were in the park, where they went to play while hanging with friends or waiting for their parents to finish shopping.
Located in Mina, the pumpkin was headed for the scrap yard before a Lion’s Club member stepped in and rescued it. With the help of Mineral County Public Works, the pumpkin has found its way home where second and third generations of Mineral County residents can enjoy.
I owned the pumpkin in Mina. It was never headed for the scrap yard. It was kept in very good condition. Painted every year.
I owned the pumpkin while it was in Mina. It was taken very good care of . Cleaned up and painted every year while it was in our care. Since we are getting older we decided it was best to sell it to some one that would take good care of it. Scrap yard wasn’t in our plan. That’s why we decided to sell it in the first place. Right now, after reading this, maybe we made the wrong choice as to who to sell it to. This is my second comment. Somehow my first one disappeared. Why?
