ARUTHURArthur Alan Noble, 74, longtime resident of Mina, passed away Oct. 10 at Mt. Grant Hospital in Hawthorne.  Art was born on February 29, 1940 in Aurora, Neb. to Lloyd Raymond and Mildred Noble, moved to Nevada with his family when he was three years old and lived the rest of his life in desert towns of Nevada.  He was employed for many years as a truck driver for Wells Cargo and then worked until his retirement for the Nevada Dept. of Transportation on the road crew.

Art was a lifetime member of the Fortune, Eckley, Perry VFW Post 2668 in Mina and the Brucite Lodge 42, F & A M.  He was a hockey fan and especially enjoyed this year’s Stanley Cup play-offs, which was won by his team, the LA Kings.  Art loved going to Disneyland with his family.  He especially loved getting out exploring in the desert with family and friends on his Razor, taking every side route and detour out to the destination and the shortest route back home.

Arthur Noble was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife: Carol L. Noble of Mina; sons: Darryl Noble (Gil Gomez) of Reno and David Noble (Alicia) of Medical Lake, Wash.; Daughters: Donna Nagy (Joel) of Sparks and Tammy Strange (David) of Hawthorne; Sisters: Sandra Peroglio (Joe) of Reno and Nancy Kanitz of Anchorage, Alaska; Grandchildren: Ashley, Nicole, Erica, Amber, Sarah, Kristofor, SuadeLee, Wil-Anthony and Jayda and Great Grandchildren: Dreyden and Jayson.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mina Care and Share with burial to follow at the Mina Cemetery.
