Dear Friends in Hawthorne:
Thank you for honoring Don’s memory with cards, flowers, phone calls and support of the Hawthorne Ordinance Museum. We are so thankful. Don passed quite peacefully surrounded by his family.
Don enjoyed his trips visiting Hawthorne; sadly, travel was quite demanding on him the last year or so. He would have been very touched by support displayed by the community of folks, from family and friends new and old in Hawthorne. Fathers Bain and Abraham celebrated with mass, Hawthorne residents in the Marine Corps League participated in the internment ceremony, and the sentiments expressed personally at the services and through cards and calls were a great comfort for Peggy and the whole family.
